How to Rebuild GM LS-Series EnginesReplacing the old tried and true small block Chevy engine with a new version would not be an easy task. The new small block is known as the LS engine family and has more than successfully replaced 350's and 305's that were based in design from the 1950's. LS engines are available in a range of displacements and are all based on the same design characteristics. You'll find LS engines in many high performance vehicles in the GM lineup as well as engine replacements in hot rods, muscle cars and street trucks. If you're building an LS engine, you'll find good information here to help you get it done.
