All exhaust products manufactured by Car Chemistry, Inc. are guaranteed against manufacturers defects for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. The original invoice must accompany all claims. A return authorization number must be issued before the return of any product. Any defective product must be returned to Car Chemistry, Inc. freight prepaid. After inspecting the product of a valid claim, Car Chemistry, Inc. will replace the defective product and return it via UPS ground service. Car Chemistry, Inc. exhaust systems are for competition use only. The ceramic coating has been proven to withstand EGT’s up to1600f without delaminating and up to 1500 without discoloration therefore any delaminating or discoloring of the coating is due to improper tuning. This could be caused by improper cam tuning, improper ignition timing, improper carburetor jetting, overheating etc.. Dyno testing or breaking in a new motor could cause overheating, to eliminate this problem, use a large fan blowing over the exhaust components to dissipate and transfer heat. Failure to allow the exhaust components to get too hot will result in the coating being damaged. No credit will be issued for labor or other costs incurred beyond the cost of the original product. Any modification to the product will void all warrantees. Warrantees will be in effect for the original purchaser only. It is the discretion of Car Chemistry, Inc. to replace or issue credit for defective product.
Car Chemistry, Inc. makes no claim as to sound level (Dba) or tone. This will vary on each vehicle. Some race applications have proven satisfactory with only a single disk insert. Car Chemistry, Inc. cannot guarantee that any specific application will meet the sound requirements of all municipalities or other governmental agencies. The wide variety of engine configurations and exhaust system designs preclude guaranteeing that all systems using CCInserts will be street legal.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, minus 15% restocking fee. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
