Hughes Performance Limited Warranty
Hughes Performance® products are covered by the following Limited Warranty provided exclusively by Hughes Performance, 2244 W. McDowell Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85009.

WHAT IS COVERED?

Subject to the terms, exclusions and limitations herein, Hughes Performance® warrants to the initial retail purchaser that your Hughes Performance® transmission, torque converter, or powerglide™ gear set are free of defects in material or workmanship for the following term, measured from the date of retail purchase: (A.) Street/Strip complete transmission & / or torque converter-1 year; (B.) Race complete transmission-30 days; (C.) Powerglide™ helical cut billet planetary gear sets-1 year; (D.) Powerglide™ straight cut billet planetary gear sets-2 years.(E.) All other components-1year; Subject to your rights under law as described below, Hughes Performance® makes no warranty with respect to other components, kits or services. Transmissions and / or torque converters for repair or freshening are warrantied for 90 days; covering the repaired parts and labor only.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED?

Your Hughes Performance® Limited Warranty does not cover: (A.) failure or defect of a Hughes Performance® product due to improper installation or maintenance; (B.) damage to your vehicle, related components, other products or property not expressly warranted by Hughes Performance® including failures or defects which contribute to or cause failure or damage of a warranted Hughes Performance® product; (C.) wear and tear or reduced performance reflecting customer use, (D.) Acts of God, weather, corrosion, accidents, theft, vandalism, neglect, vehicle construction or repair techniques, vehicle configuration or misuse contrary to: instructions, warnings, law or other exclusions of your vehicle or component limited warranties. (E.) Disassembly of any product by means other than a Hughes Performance® technician will void any potential warranty. (F.) there is NO warranty on any electrical part.

Remedy Limited to Repair/Replacement

The exclusive remedy provided under this Limited Warranty shall be either repair or replacement of the failed or defective part, at the Hughes Performance’s facility provided. Repair of a Street/Strip or Race transmission is limited to replacement of all friction material, seals, and gaskets. Customer requesting warranty consideration should first contact customer service (800-274-RACE) to obtain a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. All Removal, shipping and installation cost are customer’s responsibility.

Other Exclusions-Limitations of Damage-Your Rights Under State Law

In consideration of the purchase price paid, neither Hughes Performance® nor any independent distributor are responsible for any time loss, loss of vehicle use, lost business or promotional opportunities, rental costs, transportation, labor or for any incidental, consequential, punitive or other damages you may have or incur in connection with your Hughes Performance® purchase. Your exclusive remedy hereunder for covered parts is repair/replacement as described above. This Limited Warranty gives you specific rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state. For example, some states do not allow limitations of how long an implied warranty lasts and/or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the limitations and exclusions herein may not apply to you. All other warranties are hereby disclaimed, except to the extent prohibited by applicable law in which case any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or other implied warranty are limited to the period of express warranty provided above. Hughes Performance® reserves the rights to require invoice or other proof of purchase as a condition of repair or replacement.

NOTE: Cataloged, special order items or custom built parts that are waiting for payment and have not been shipped or picked up within 90 days of completion will become the property of Hughes Performance® and will be subject to sale. Items that are paid for will be stored at customer request for no longer than 120 days.
