Hedman Manufacturing Warranty

In addition to the Hedman Hedders limited lifetime warranty, Hedman factory applied ceramicmetallic coatings, referred to as HTC, ELITE and Black-Maxx, are warrantied for 5 (five) years
from the date of purchase. This guarantee covers the replacement/repair of the product only
and DOES NOT cover the cost of removal and installation.
Hedman does not warranty any Hedman-factory coated product installed on vehicles which have
superchargers, nitrous oxide systems, or turbocharged engines. Due to the excessively high
exhaust temperatures created during engine break-in, the use of cast iron exhaust manifolds
or old headers during the first 20-30 minutes of engine life is stronglyrecommended. DISCOLORATION CAUSED DURING ENGINE BREAK-IN, EXTREMELY LEAN OR RICH ENGINE OPERATING
CONDITIONS, damage or defects resulting from collision, improper installation, off-road use,
road hazards, the use of exhaust insulating wrap or like products, or RUST-THROUGH occurring after installation of a Hedman HTC Product, IS NOT COVERED BY THE GUARANTEE. Any
Hedman Hedders coated by any other means other than the Hedman factory are not covered
under this coating warranty. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser only.
STREET HEADERS: HEDMAN MANUFACTURING conditionally warranties, for life,
each set of new Hedman Hedders Street Headers to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship including tube cracks and welds. Factory applied header coatings are warrantied
for 5 (five) years from the date of purchase. See coating warranty below.
All Other Products: All non-header products (including, but not limited to:
gaskets, reducers, fasteners, mandrel bends, exhaust tips) are warrantied for a period of
90 days from the date of purchase.
Should a part become defective, return it to the original selling dealer. All warranty claims
must be accompanied by a sales receipt and Hedman Warranty Certificate.
If there is no dealer in your area, first CONTACT Hedman Hedders for a return authorization
number then return the part PREPAID to the address on the reverse side of this Warranty
Certificate. Upon inspection, Hedman reserves the right under the provisions of the warranty
to replace or repair the part in question. Hedman will return all warranty claims to you
freight collect.
This warranty covers the replacement or repair of the defective part only and does not cover
the cost of removal or installation or customer applied aftermarket coating.
This Warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
This warranty does not cover defects resulting from collision, improper installation,
alteration, off-road use, road hazards, the use of exhaust insulating wrap or similar products.
RUST THROUGH occurring after installation is not cover by this warranty.
