United Pacific Warranty

GENERAL POLICY
If you have purchased an item directly from United Pacific that does not meet your satisfaction, or it fails or is defective within that product’s stated warranty period, you may be eligible for a refund or to return that item or to qualify for a replacement item of similar size/style/cost, as far as the conditions and procedures herein are met. Items requested for return that have not been opened, installed or were received damaged must be claimed within 30 days from date you receive the items. Claims outside of 30 days from receipt date are not eligible for return or refund. For all returns you may be asked to provide verification of purchase from United Pacific. Please have your original purchase record / email receipt available before starting a claim. All requests for return require an RMA Number from our Returns Department. Please do not ship back any merchandise to United Pacific without first receiving an approved RMA #. United Pacific cannot be held responsible for items returned that do not have an approved RMA Number or for failing to follow the instructions below. If you purchased the United Pacific item from an Authorized United Pacific Dealer, you will need to contact them for help with any return or warranty issue. If you purchased a United Pacific Product from an on-line, 3rd party e-tailer or e-dealer, you must contact them for help with any return or warranty issue.

Returning New or Unopened or Uninstalled items:
● Items returned shall be in their new original condition with no damage to the items or the retail packaging. Items cannot be dented, scratched or blemished in anyway.

● Any items which have been installed or mounted cannot be returned

● United Pacific may request photos or additional information on a case by case basis as part of their RMA process.

● Customers will be responsible for shipping costs to send products back

● All returns must have a valid RMA Number issued by United Pacific. Items returned without a valid RMA # are not eligible for a return and will be disposed of by United Pacific.

● Once the items are received and verified as new, unused and in good re-sellable condition, United Pacific will refund the order amount, minus cost of outbound shipping and handling, minus a 10% restocking fee, plus sales tax (if applicable) to the issuing credit card for the order.

● Allow up to 10 business days for the refund to process once we receive and verify the item condition.

Returning items which are incorrect and/or defective or broken in the box upon receipt:
●IMPORTANT: Please do not attempt to install the part. Installed parts are not eligible for return.

● Contact our Returns department as per the Steps to Request RMA Number within 3 business days of receiving item/s.

● If you would like a replacement item sent prior to United Pacific receiving the original item back, United Pacific will charge you for the replacement item, including shipping costs.

● United Pacific will issue a call tag for returning the incorrect of defective item/s.

● Once the original items are received, United Pacific will refund the full amount paid to the issuing credit card.

● Allow up to 10 business days for the refund to process.

● Contact our Returns department as per the Steps to Request RMA Number below.

Returning items which are defective or found not working within the stated Warranty period:
● IMPORTANT: Warranty period starts from the day you receive the item; not from the day the item may have been installed.

● It is recommended you verify the warranty period on any item/s before filing a claim. You may locate warranty period at upauto.com.

● Items with defects must be reported within that product’s stated warranty. No warranty can be given outside of the product’s warranty period.

● You may be asked to provide purchase validation of the item/s in question. Please have your original purchase record / email receipt available in case we require verification.

● Reasonable “wear and tear” is expected, however, products which fail or become defective due to an accident, wreck, gross mis-use/abuse or incorrect installation would not be covered and thus the warranty is void.

● Modifications or alterations of any type will immediately void the product’s warranty.

● Replaceable Halogen/LED Headlight bulbs (e.g. 9006, HB4, etc.) are only covered for 6 months.

● Modular headlights with acrylic/plastic lens will slightly discolor (yellowing) in the normal course of operation. Discoloration (yellowing) of lens is not a warrantable aspect of the light.

● In many cases United Pacific may not require the old item to be returned, however, retain that item until you receive an approved RMA Number and instruction on what to do with the old/defective item.

● In the event United Pacific requires the defective items to be sent back, we will issue a call tag for shipping.

● In some cases, United Pacific may determine to offer a replacement part in lieu of a refund. United Pacific would arrange for GROUND shipping on any replacements it deems necessary to send. We cannot express ship or overnight ship replacement items. The retail customer may choose to pay for expedited shipping to receive the replacement part sooner; otherwise replacement parts are shipped GROUND service only.

● If receiving a refund, United Pacific will process the full amount paid as a credit to the issuing credit card. No cash refunds are allowed.

● Allow up to 10 business days for the refund to process.

● Contact our Returns department as per the Steps to Request RMA Number below to start a Warranty claim.

Steps to Request RMA # (RETAIL):
Method #1: Send an email to returns@upauto.com. Please have ready or include:

-If emailing: Put in Subject Line: Return ORDER NUMBER
-If over the phone and also for emailing:
-Your complete Name and Address and phone number.
-Your ORDER NUMBER on the paperwork or email you received.
-List the Item Number and quantity of the products you wish to return or are defective
-State a reason for why you want to return them.
-You may be asked for photos of the items as well to facilitate the return process
-Please allow 2 business days for your RMA Number to be returned to you
-Remember, do not return the items until you have received the approved RMA Number.
-United Pacific reserves the right to verify conditions of returned items before issuance of any refund.

How To Return Items:
● Make sure you have received your approved RMA Number first.

● Be sure to include a copy of the approved RMA form sent to you in the box with the items.

● Be sure to write the RMA Number on the outside of the shipping box.

● Properly pack your items in a suitable shipping box/carton to ensure safe travel in transits.

● Once your items are received and verified you will be contacted by our Returns department advising you on the solution and /or of any refund pending which may be issued to you.
