Blue Demon Welding Warranty


WMS warrants all material to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 6 months from the date of shipment. This warranty is invalid if material is not properly maintained by the customer.

Limited Warranty - This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is subject to the terms and conditions listed below.
This Limited Warranty is for new equipment sold after the above date, providing coverage for defects in material and workmanship at the time it is shipped from the factory.
Limited to the warranty periods listed below, Welding Material Sales will repair or replace the item under warranty that fails due to defects in material and workmanship. Welding Material Sales, Inc. must be notified within 30 days of the failure, so as to provide instructions on how to proceed with the repair of your welder and warranty claim processing. Warranty period begins at the time the welder is purchased from an authorized Welding Material Sales, Inc. distributor and/or retailer. Proof of purchase will be required for Welding Material Sales to proceed with any and all warranty claims, no exceptions.
Warranty Periods - Limited Warranty is divided into two categories: No warranty and 1 year.
1. No Warranty
Normal wear items including but not limited to MIG gun parts (contact tips, nozzle, adapter, liner), TIG torch parts (collet, cup, back cap, torch body) drive roll, contactor, and electrode holder are not covered under warranty.

2. 1 Year
Solenoid valve, PC board, controls, gas valve, drive motor, and drive system. Parts and labor performed by authorized repair center with original equipment repair parts. Call 888-905-6737 for a repair center near you.

• Warranty refunds and exchanges require proof of purchase, no exceptions.
• Purchaser must first contact Blue Demon Welding Products (BDWP) at 888-905-6737 for an RMA Number before BDWP will accept any warranty returns.
• Final determination of warranty on welding and cutting equipment will be made by BDWP.

BDWP will not accept responsibility or liability for repairs unless made by BDWP. BDWP’s liability under this warranty shall not exceed the cost of correcting the defect of the BDWP product. BDWP will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages (such as loss if business, etc.) caused by the defect or the time involved to correct the defect. This written warranty is the only express warranty provided by BDWP with respect to its products. Warranties implied by law such as the warranty of merchantability are limited to the duration of this limited warranty for the equipment involved. This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights. The purchaser may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

• Refunds are for the value of the product only.

Limitations and Exclusions
To help protect our customers and make sure every return or exchange is dealt with fairly this policy is subject to a few important conditions
• Equipment that, in our opinion, has been abused or misused will not be eligible for refund or replacement, even within the warranty period.
• All returns for exchange or refund must be complete, with all parts and accessories.
• Proof of purchase is required. Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable.
• Valid for all items purchased from authorized distributors of BDWP. All purchases from an unapproved third party are subject to the policies
of the third party.
