A Core is simply the old part you are replacing with a new one. Cores are essential to remanufacture new parts. We will refund you the core charge when you return a rebuildable part that is identical to the new part you purchased. You get your money back and help ensure that a new part can be made for a fellow enthusiast.
In order to receive credit for core deposits please adhere to the following instructions:
- Place your core in the original box you received from UREMCO and place it in a suitable box for shipping. (Please make sure to drain the parts of any gasoline)
- Put a copy of your invoice in the shipping box and send it to:

- If the core is found acceptable for rebuilding, not frozen/damaged or unlike the new part you purchased, JEGS will refund your core charge within 15 days of receipt to your account via the original payment method. Core return shipping charges are not refundable.
